How to sign up to submit documents in Uzhond? Let's talk about the new rules

Since mid-April, the registration procedure for submitting documents for a residence permit has changed: now this procedure will consist of 3 key steps - registration on state portals and 2 mandatory questionnaires. We found out in practice what the process of submitting documents to Uzhond is and what needs to be done so that the application is accepted and everyone can sign up. Read the detailed guide.

How to sign up to

1. Get your personal code on the InPol website

After registering on the InPol website and filling out the form, you need to obtain the personal code for your application and schedule a document submission appointment.

Here’s how to do it:

  1. Log into your account on the InPol website.

  2. After logging in, you will see active cases on the main page. Click on the small line next to the appropriate case. If you have created two applications before, make sure to select the correct one — this is important.

  3. Then, click the "Download PDF application" button.

  4. Look for the application code. It will be located at the top right corner of the first page of your application.

Proceed to the next step:

2. Register and fill out the form on the MOS website

The form here is very similar to the one on InPol. You will also need to get your personal code from this form. Here's how:

  1. Go to the MOS website.

  2. Choose "Fill out an application or create a procedural document."

  3. Next, select "Application for granting a foreigner a temporary stay permit."

The fields for filling out the application on both platforms are almost identical. It's not difficult; just make sure to enter your details carefully and correctly.

Once you've filled out the application, click the "Submit" button and save the document as a PDF.

The MOS application will have its own code (8 digits) at the bottom of each page, near the barcode.

Now that we have two application codes, we can move to the next step.

3. Fill out one more form (the last one) for scheduling on the website

This is where the two codes come in handy. You'll also need to fill out your contact information.

You’ll need to enter:

  • Both codes from the applications (the code from the InPol application should be entered without the first two zeros, only 6 digits, and the code from the MOS application should be entered fully).
  • Your first name, last name, date of birth, and passport number.
  • The basis for your stay in Poland (visa, residence card, visa-free, illegal stay, or document issued by another Schengen country).
  • The last date you can legally stay in Poland.
  • Contact details: your phone number and email address (where all the appointment information will be sent). After filling out the form, submit the application.

Important! The page with the form works intermittently — sometimes it loads, sometimes it doesn’t. But you can check the form opening date via the link.

4. That’s it. Now just wait

You will receive a response within 5 working days by email with all the information regarding the document submission appointment, including the exact date.

This process is very convenient and straightforward. You no longer need to monitor dates and wait for the InPol website to update. The appointment date will be sent to your email and set automatically.

From experience, we can share that you can go for your document submission in about 3-4 weeks.

Real case: if you submit your application on April 12, the date could be set for May 3 — three weeks from the submission.
